The brand Esprit de Corp was founded in San Francisco during the late 1960’s by Susie & Doug Tompkins and Jane Tise. The company was known for selling casual well-designed clothing, shoe and accessories. Part of their corporation brief was the fostering of social responsibility and environmental conservation.
Esprit Holdings Ltd., as it is now known, is a world-wide business headquartered in Germany and Hong Kong.
The window and barrier signs and banners were completed during the period the corporation was active in opening many stores in the US and Canada.
At the beginning of 2012, Esprit Holdings made the decision to close all it’s US and Canadian stores.
